Health care reform big leap forward for America (12/29/09, page C2)

Time and again we’re baffled by how such a successful businessman could be so clueless about politics.

Mr. Butler jumps on the bandwagon regarding Obamacare and how the math adds up to savings for all of us and insurance for those of us uninsured.

What Mr. Butler never bothers to question is why those of us that sacrifice to buy health insurance should be affected by this so-called health care reform plan if the purpose of the plan is to provide insurance to those that don’t have it? He also doesn’t bother to ask why it takes 2000 pages plus another 700 pages in amendments to provide coverage to those that don’t have it. Nor does he ask what the hell is in those 2700 pages that make up the so-called reform.

This plan is a disaster for all of us. It should have focused entirely on covering the uncovered, but Democrats being socialists could not leave it at that. They have to tell us how to live our lives just like the Commies used to try to do in the USSR.
