AG Gonzales “Uproar” waste of time (May 22, 2007, page A12)

It’s unusual for the LATimes to actually report something about the White House and present both sides fairly. They did in this article by James Gerstenzang (“President firm as uproar over Gonzales grows”).

What strikes me about this political theater by the Dems (and some Republicans) is:

1) Who would the Dems approve of to replace Alberto?  C’mon, no one Conservatives would like (which is why I think PresBush is sticking with him).

2) What exactly has he done that’s illegal?  Nothing.  So why are we wasting time on this?

 3) Why would what a “witness” states be any more truthful that what Alberto says?  Because it embarrasses the White House. That’s it.  Doesn’t even matter if it’s true or not.
