Obama’s latest venture: Science (4/28/09, Front Page)
Randolph Schmid, AP
Education Point for poorly trained journalists: Gross Domestic Product is a measurement of economic activity. The money it counts is not in a bank somewhere for the government to demand it be used on science.
So now in this article we have two idiots, the President of the United States (who is completely clueless [...]
Poll numbers false and misleading (4/24/09, not in CCTimes)
A recent poll by another liberal leaning organization (AP) claimed the majority of the country believed we were heading in the right direction.
Steve McCann over at American Thinker shows how AP in effect lied to us about the results by stacking those polled with Democrats.
36% of those polled were Democrats
18% Republican
26% Independent
18% None claimed
Remember to [...]
Definition of Torture (4/24/09, not in CCTimes)
Since the Contra Costa Times and our liberal media can’t seem to understand what torture truly is, we at CCTimesWatch have pulled a definition for you:

Agency tries to make up funding shortfall (4/23/09, page A3)
Paul Burgarino, CCTimes
Paul, how about asking about pay cuts for the employees?

What we have here is another liberal journalist unable to understand the point of view of the customer or the taxpayer. How about stretching a little [...]
Miss California winner for speaking her mind (4/24/09, page A2)
Pat Craig, CCTimes Op-Ed
Pat Craig has some tremendous heuvos! For him to sit in an office surrounded by pyscho-liberals and produce an op-ed like this one praising Miss California USA for speaking her mind on gay marriage is impressive. Admittedly, Pat did not take a position on gay marriage, but the key point is that [...]
Senator made offer before husband’s deal (4/22/09, page AA3)
AP
Unbelievable. Our wealthy Democratic Sen. Diane Feinstein is caught in a blatant conflict of interest involving taxpayer money and the liberal CCTimes runs it way in the back of the newspaper, thereby guarantying that voters would not notice how corrupt Democrats can be.
Ballot measures costly, divisive (4/21/09, Front Page)
Steven Harmon, MediaNews
First paragraph:
It was a deal that could only be made in the state capitol: While shelving plans to increase taxes on oil companies and alcoholic beverages . . .
Steven’s implication here is that oil companies and alcohol SHOULD be taxed more. As if that were the ONLY option for balancing the state budget. He [...]
